Royal Canin Renal Select Dry Food for Adult Cats

Because kidney disorders are common in cats, and particularly older cats, ROYAL CANIN® Renal Select Dry Food for Adult Cats provides a veterinary diet that has been nutritionally balanced to support adult cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency.

Developed with a moderate, high-protein content and a low phosphorus content to support kidney function, Royal Canin Renal Select is suitable for:

• Cats with azotaemic Chronic Kidney Disease with proteinuria (IRIS stage 1 to 4)
• Cats with chronic Kidney Disease (IRIS stage 2 to 4)
• Management of calcium oxalate urolith recurrence in cats with impaired renal function
• Prevention of recurrence of urolithiasis requiring urine alkalinisation: urate & cystine uroliths

ROYAL CANIN® works closely with leading veterinary scientists to develop Renal Select dry cat food. As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, this diet should only be given to your cat following the recommendation of a veterinary professional. When changing your cat’s diet, introduce the new food gradually over a 7–10-day period and follow the recommended daily feeding quantities.

Encouraging a cat to eat can be challenging when food aversion is present. To accommodate individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Renal Select can be combined with ROYAL CANIN® Renal wet diets, offering a choice of formulations, aromas and textures to help encourage appetite. If feeding a combination of wet and dry food, always refer to the feeding guidelines on the packaging to help maintain an appropriate daily intake. ROYAL CANIN® Renal Veterinary diets for cats are specifically formulated to support kidney function in cats affected by Chronic Renal Insufficiency.
